After my work as a summer clerk in 2023, I officially joined the Walter’s Gilbreath team permanently in August 2024. Given my background as a first-generation college student and daughter of immigrants, I wanted to become a lawyer to better understand and navigate the complexities of the legal and governmental systems. My goal was to use this knowledge to advocate effectively for individuals facing similar challenges, ensuring that they have the support and representation they need. Prior to joining the firm, I gained diverse legal experience in personal injury, immigration, criminal, and civil law. My work with Catholic Charities in their Immigration department and occasional volunteer work further fueled my passion for family law. What I enjoy most about working in family law is the blend of intricate legal concepts with the need for genuine compassion. Family law cases are deeply personal and support clients through significant life events while navigating complex legal issues. The opportunity to make a positive impact on families during challenging times, and to provide both legal expertise and empathetic guidance, is what I find most rewarding in this field. I am thrilled to contribute to Walters Gilbreath’s mission of delivering compassionate and effective legal representation, where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. Walters Gilbreath, PLLC blends expert legal knowledge with a compassionate, client-focused approach and recognizes that family law matters are deeply personal and complex and is committed to offering customized solutions that meet each client’s specific needs. The firm’s dedication to excellence and personalized service ensures that clients receive exceptional support and effective representation.
Outside the office, I volunteer with Catholic Charities and I love to stay active with activities such as pilates, pickles ball, and cycling. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants in Austin and spending time with my pug.
