Ashton Yarnall is an associate in the firm’s Austin office. Ms. Yarnall graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2019. After graduating, Ms. Yarnall worked in litigation and arbitration in Washington, D.C. While at Georgetown, Ms. Yarnall clerked for the House Judiciary Committee, summered at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, and taught a course on the law to local high school students.
Amongst her proudest achievements as an attorney has been her pro bono work. In 2021, she assisted in drafting a joint submission concerning healthcare access of the women of Nepal. This report was highlighted in two United Nations reports during the 37th Session of the Universal Periodic Report Working Group of the United Nations Human Rights Council. In 2020, she was part of a litigation team which secured the repeal of an ordinance in violation of the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act. She has done immigration and sentence reduction pro bono work.
Ms. Yarnall is a firm believer in the principle of zealous advocacy and looks forward to fighting for you in what can be one of the most difficult times in anyone’s life.
