I have been surrounded by family law for my entire life, thanks to my mom, a family lawyer of 30 plus years. Growing up, I was a regular at the local courthouse: dropping documents off with the District Clerk’s office, stopping by the Judge’s chambers to collect a signature, and peeking around the courtroom when no one was around to stop me.
Despite my upbringing, I began law school with no intention of practicing family law. However, during each class, I noticed the ways that disparate subjects all intersected with family law. Accounting, business valuation, constitutional issues, and more, each play fundamental roles in the way that families unify and divide.
I have grown to love family law because each case contains its own complexities and opportunities to learn. The world, and consequently marriages, change everyday and family law demands creativity, adaptability, and strong strategic thinking. I couldn't imagine a more exciting or fulfilling career, and I look forward to seeing how I can leverage my passion and skillsets to help clients every day.
