Jack Beesley

Associate Attorney

I grew up looking up to a few of family friends that were prominent Dallas attorneys and was always interested in listening to how they helped their clients. During college, I was drawn to law school as my interest in helping people through difficult situations continued and as I really enjoy public speaking, I knew a career in the courtroom was for me.

My practice really moved into family law after I went through my own difficult divorce and learned how to build a new life with my sons after divorce. I knew from there I could use my own experience, education and courtroom skills to help people going through the most challenging time in their lives, much like I did. I have been particularly drawn to helping parents through divorce, especially when there are complex concerns in father’s rights and custody issues. I believe with the right mindset, combined with excellent legal representation, that a parent can have a great relationship with their children post-divorce, even if the parent sees the children less than when married.

In addition to my family law experience, I have spent over a decade in the courtroom fighting insurance companies for injured plaintiffs in personal injury cases. I have obtained millions of dollars of recoveries for my clients holding trucking companies and unsafe drivers responsible for their wrongful actions. I believe there are no car “accidents,” but rather, there are collisions caused by a driver failing to follow the rules of the road and disregarding the safety of others around them. I have extensive experience with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in trucking cases and is also well versed in how insurance companies try to devalue injured plaintiffs’ cases after suing many insurance companies for bad faith.

I was drawn to Walters Gilbreath because of the excellent reputation, the use of technology to effectively advocate for its clients, and because it is a statewide firm able to fight for clients anywhere in Texas. As your attorney, you expect someone who is knowledgeable about the law, someone who will listen your concerns and goals, and someone who will fight for you every step of the way.

I have two sons that I enjoy spending time with and watching them play football and basketball. I play the drums in Pepper Theft, a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band.
