I have built a strong interest and background working with families dealing with non-traditional custody issues for over a decade in the city of Houston. I have extensive experience with adoptions and suits affecting the parent-child relationship where child safety is at risk. I have seen, too often, children needing an extended family member or loved one to take legal action when the parents are unable to provide a safe and stable environment. I am trained in TBRI or Trust Based Relational Intervention from the Karen Purvis Institute.
As a father of two daughters I understand the constant challenges we have as parents. I have experienced a separation and a divorce and understand the hardship that lies beneath the legal process. As your attorney, you can expect empathy, understanding and I will work to give you a clear and realistic path toward resolving your case. I am not afraid of a challenge and will never leave my clients feeling like they are forced to settle for less than what is best for their children.
I joined Walters Gilbreath, PLLC in the spring of 2023 to be part of the team that uses innovative technology and an upfront approach to the formation of the attorney-client relationship. Our team here is direct, upfront and sets the clients expectations immediately and realistically.
I am the current Chair of my Alma Mater’s Alumni Association at the University of Houston – Downtown. I work with dozens of non-profits that support foster children and families across southeast Texas to resource goods and services for families in need.
