After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University in Washington DC, I moved back home to Houston to pursue my childhood aspirations in the legal field as a paralegal for a local family law firm. From there, I moved to Orlando, FL to attend law school at Florida A&M University, College of Law. During my time at law school, I interned with RAICES as well as the Harris County District Court. After graduating and passing the bar, I began practicing law at a personal injury law firm before then joining a bankruptcy firm. I joined the team at Walters Gilbreath, PLLC in November 2022 because I really missed the direct impact of working in family law, and Walters Gilbreath has a great reputation for achieving results.
