I always knew that I had a calling to help people, but it wasn’t until my internship with Child Protective Services at Texas A&M University where I found a deep sense of purpose helping children and families.
From there, I attended Brooklyn Law School where I interned for a child advocacy center and represented children in Family Court in New York City. I went on to work for a large pro bono legal aid organization where I worked in both their Impact Litigation and Juvenile Rights divisions advocating for my clients and for the children of NY in the foster care system. Throughout these experiences my love for being in the courtroom grew.
After graduating law school and obtaining my license to practice law, I came back to Texas to begin my practice as a criminal defense attorney gaining experience in the court room and advocating for the needs of my clients. I joined Walters Gilbreath, PLLC in July 2022 and I am happy to be back practicing my real passion, family law. I enjoy working with families and helping come to the best resolutions for my clients.
Outside work, I love spending time outdoors with my two dogs, Anya and Sasha, soccer and traveling.
