While obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, I learned the many ways in which the social work and legal fields intersect. During my first semester of college, I worked as an intern at the Domestic Violence Clinic at UT’s School of Law, which allowed me to see this intersection in action. I played an active role alongside law students working with victims of domestic violence who were going through divorces, child custody cases or simply seeking protection. From there, I knew that family law would be the right fit for me. I am excited to now be part of the Walters Gilbreath, PLLC team surrounded by individuals who are at the top of their field that creates an environment that is constantly facilitating growth.
