I joined Walters Gilbreath as a law clerk in the summer of 2024 and returned as a full-time clerk after graduating magna cum laude from South Texas College of Law Houston. Born and raised in Houston, I grew up in one of the most diverse cities in the country, which taught me the importance of connecting with people from all walks of life. Coming from a large family that included attorneys and other professionals, I learned early the values of service, sacrifice, and advocacy. My uncle, an immigration lawyer, taught me the importance of working tirelessly for clients, while my mother showed me how to balance professionalism with compassion.
During law school, I explored many practice areas, including personal injury, estate planning, and public service with the City of Houston. But when my own parents went through a divorce, I experienced firsthand how deeply family law disputes affect individuals and families, even in cases without children involved. That experience, combined with my work at Walters Gilbreath handling complex disputes, solidified my commitment to helping clients navigate family law matters with strength and clarity. I understand the fear, stress, and uncertainty that come with divorce and custody disputes. I know those feelings personally and my goal is to provide clients with not only strong legal representation but also support and clarity throughout the process. Outside of work, I volunteer with the Houston Food Bank, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Covenant House Texas. In my free time, I enjoy exploring Houston with my fiancé, wine tasting, cheering on the Rockets, skiing, and spending time with my miniature schnauzer, Chrissy.
