My friends and family always joked that I would end up choosing a legal career. In high school, I invested much of my time competing in, and eventually coaching, competitive debate. I loved the challenges of researching technical topics, writing detailed briefs, and finding new solutions to complex problems. While pursuing my bachelors degree at the University of Texas, I excelled in my first seminar-style law course, receiving an award for highest grade. Following these experiences, I suspected that I would leave campus in search of the next step in a legal career.
That next step turned out to be Walters Gilbreath, PLLC, where I joined as a Litigation Assistant in the Austin office. From day one, I was eager to learn everything I could from the perspective of both the attorneys and management. Over the following two years, I enjoyed learning to coordinate projects and workflows between our four indispensable departments; legal services, client development, marketing, and management. Currently, I help facilitate collaboration and growth between our teams as Chief Operating Officer.
I am grateful to work each day surrounded by individuals who are at the top of their field and from whom I can learn so much. Our firm has a dedicated, resilient, and forward-thinking attitude that has enabled us to support hundreds of clients through adversity. I look forward to seeing how we can do the same for you.
