Keith D. Maples
Senior Partner
Keith has been a dedicated family law attorney for 35 years.
Keith’s practice focuses on divorces involving complex property issues, business valuations, tracing of separate property assets, trusts and custody matters involving children with special needs.
Keith is a talented litigator, a sought-after mediator and arbitrator, and a frequent author and speaker on effectively representing parents of special-needs children and handling complex property issues.
He has been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1997 and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) since 2013. Keith is also a past Chair of the Texas Chapter of the AAML.
Keith grew up in Galena Park, Texas. A year after graduating from South Texas College of Law, he moved to Austin and began his family law career. Keith lives in Barton Hills with his wife, Nikki (also a family lawyer), and his son, Ben. When he’s not in the office, you might find him running on the Town Lake Trail (he’s a Boston Marathon finisher), captaining a sailboat, exploring the farmers’ market, or snowboarding with his daughter, Sarah.
