Kristine Umanzor

Litigation Support Specialist

I joined Walters Gilbreath, PLLC, in January, 2024. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Mass Communications from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. In 2021, I received my Paralegal certification from the American Board Association’s accredited Advanced Paralegal Studies program at Lone Star College. During that time, I was elected President of the Paralegal Association and was nominated and recognized for outstanding leadership. As President, I was able to study under the guidance of distinguished attorneys in various practices of law across the nation. This allowed many opportunities to not only attain knowledge outside of learned theory, but to share my experiences with students of the program, as well as organize events where they may engage with other legal professionals and local Paralegal associations. I value continued education and my experience ranges from corporate to family law.

My experience in the legal field continues to further instill my belief that it is most important to remain optimistic and empathetic even in the most adverse of circumstances. Walters Gilbreath prioritizes building client relationships you can trust in and rely on every step of the way. I am proud to be a part of a team that truly wants to help their clients transition into the next chapter of their lives with confidence and assured resilience.

I am a native Houstonian however, I consider Austin my second home. I enjoy running, thrifting for classic literature, and playing piano. I have a very energetic Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Lady who loves walks and just wants to be your new best friend.
