I knew I wanted to be an attorney for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching and eventually being involved in my father’s Criminal Defense and Family Law practice in Louisiana. At a young age I assisted in charity for his client’s children in the foster care system and developed an appreciation of being able to help people in an area where they couldn’t help themselves. After I graduated from law school and passed the bar, I knew family law was for me and haven’t looked back. I continue to enjoy cases involving the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA) and am proud of the appeals I have handled in these types of cases.
As a child of divorce, I have a strong understanding of the process and emotions that come along with the dissolution of a marriage. I always tell people, “I’m not PRO-divorce. I’m PRO-helping people live their most fulfilling lives. I’m PRO-helping families be the best they can possibly be.” I joined the team of Walters Gilbreath in the spring of 2023 because of the firm’s thoroughness, organization, and communication. I enjoy the collaboration with the rest of our legal team and appreciate how they set me up for success so that I can be the best attorney I can possibly be. As your attorney, clients can expect a listening ear and someone to make a plan with. I want every client to feel as comfortable as they can, during such an uncomfortable time.
Outside the office, I enjoy walking my black labrador-retriever, Macey, along the San Antonio River Walk, going to the Pearl Farmer’s Market on the weekends, and cheering on the LSU Tigers whenever I can. I am involved in San Antonio’s Junior league, Conservation Society and Young Lawyer’s Association.
