I have been fascinated with the law for as long as I can remember. I remember reading Daredevil comics as a child and was more interested in Matt Murdock’s legal profession over his superhero endeavors. I grew up in Austin, Texas, and was fortunate to continue living in that amazing city while attending college at the University of Texas. There, my passion for the law grew as I took undergraduate courses focusing on the American legal system. Thus, it was an obvious decision for me to continue to follow my passion and attend law school after graduation.
I attended Texas Tech School of Law from August of 2017, through May of 2020. There, I had the opportunity to participate in the Texas Tech School of Law Civil Practice Clinic, where I was first exposed to the practice of family law by representing low-income clients through their divorces. After graduation, I began my career as an attorney working for a law firm in Lubbock, Texas. At my previous firm, I had the opportunity to represent clients in various areas of the law, including probate and estate planning, real estate transactions, business entity formation, commercial lending, and civil litigation including consumer rights disputes, business litigation, and family law. I quickly realized that I needed to focus my practice on family law, as that is where I feel the most fulfilled and can assist individuals when they are facing some of the most difficult and stressful times of their life.
I joined the Walters Gilbreath team in March of 2022, and have since been able to combine what I learned thus far in my practice with an unwavering passion for family law to assist individuals with complex and important family issues. I look forward to doing the same for you.
