After earning my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Florida, I attended the University of Texas School of Law. At UT Law, I quickly realized that I wanted to work closely with clients and assist them through difficult periods in their lives. In my second year of law school, I worked as a student attorney ad litem for the University of Texas Children’s Rights Clinic. That summer I also joined Walters Gilbreath as a summer law clerk and returned a few months later as a law clerk to be an associate attorney after I passed the bar later that year.
My time with the Children’s Rights Clinic and Walters Gilbreath solidified my desire to pursue family law and I am excited to be part of a firm that shares my dedication to helping families. What I enjoy most about working in family law is the opportunity to work closely with clients and help them move forward with their lives. Every family law case is unique, and I am particularly passionate about helping survivors of domestic violence. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that my work can make a meaningful difference during some of the most challenging times in client’s lives. Clients choose Walters Gilbreath because we offer quality legal representation with empathy and compassion. I understand how overwhelming the legal process can be and I look forward to helping you and your family as you navigate the next chapter of your lives with confidence.
In addition to my work at the firm, I have also served as a Student Attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic at UT Law and Lead Advisor for the Title IX Project with UT Law’s Mithoff Pro Bono Program. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, paddle boarding, and eating my way through Austin’s never-ending food scene. Although I’m not originally from Austin, the city has quickly become home due to its friendly community and outdoor activities.
