She/Her/Hers

Growing up my mom always told me “If you love to argue so much, you should be a lawyer,” and what began as her playful suggestion eventually became a moment of my self-discovery. In college, I explored other areas of interest, but the desire to provide a voice for those who might not otherwise have one made my decision to attend law school not just an option, but a clear and passionate purpose.

When I began law school, family law wasn’t my first choice. However, during my second year at SMU, I enrolled in a family law class that completely shifted my perspective. The complexities and the human impact resonated with me, and choosing to pursue a career in family law is a decision I’ve never looked back on. I am particularly passionate about advocating for those who may feel unheard or marginalized in the legal process and ensuring that every individual, regardless of their background, circumstances, or resources, receives the fair and compassionate representation they deserve.

What I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to tackle complex legal issues on behalf of my clients. I find great satisfaction in diving into intricate matters, dissecting the details, and finding the most effective solutions. Resolving difficult challenges and providing clarity to my clients is not just a professional duty but a personal passion.

My personal experiences have significantly shaped my perspective as a family lawyer. As a child of divorce and the proud child of a single mother, I’ve walked a mile in the shoes of many of my clients. I understand the challenges, emotions, and uncertainties that families go through during these difficult times. I know how scary and isolating it can feel, and I believe that no one should have to face these challenges alone.

I take pride in my role as a supportive guide, helping clients navigate the legal process with less stress and more confidence. Walters Gilbreath stood out to me for several key reasons. We are committed to offering personalized solutions and guidance tailored to each unique situation. Our dedication to transparency and open communication ensures that clients are informed and empowered throughout their legal journey.
